Dogs may at times leave your home to roam in the woods or somewhere they find exciting to be. This could be caused by boredom or anxiety or curiosity. Dogs are naturally curious and will tend to be restless when they do not have anything exciting to do or seek new adventures. This could include leaving the home to find new experiences. Once a dog leaves your home, it loses your protection and care and may run into life-threatening danger. In this article, we will review some common reasons why dogs run away. 



- Fear or other dog triggers

Dogs experience fear just like us and may react through the fight or flight response. If your dog encounters a life-threatening occurrence, it may respond by running away for safety to save its life. some of the events that may lead to this may include gunfire, celebration fireworks, or a big crowd of guests.
